Eco Pico: Visionary Boutique's New Digs

Last Fall, while traipsing around Melrose and La Cienega, I stumbled upon the slightly hidden eco-emporium of beauty/ bath, apparel (gals, guys, maternity), jewelry, baby/ kids, pets, and homewares+, Visionary Boutique. Head Visionary, owner & designer Magda Rod has rolled out the "green carpet" on Pico Blvd. with a new retail space and design studio.

Magda is committed to a "people, planet, profit" business model, and stocks the shop with like-minded brands that have adopted organic, sustainable, and/or pay-it-forward practices, including fair trade and saving the rain forests: Lluvia (skin care from the Amazon), Linda Loudermilk, Prairie Underground, Kailia (chrome-free recycled leather shoes), California Rising, and Josie Maran Cosmetics.
